Ntombi Khambule – Managing Director

Passionate about making a difference in the health and well-being of the workforce. Ntombi established Kenwell in 2009 and has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She’s committed to providing holistic Health and Wellness solutions to clients and offer consultancy and guidance on lifestyle programs. Prior to Kenwell, Ntombi implemented the Wellness Program during hr tenure as the Manager at Qualsa (division of Metropolitan Health Group) where she successfully implemented the corporate wellness program for employer groups and medical aids.

In 2004 she was the Assistant Director for HIV/AIDS/TB/STI and section 21 NGO’s in Ekurhuleni Health District. She successfully implemented the National Strategic Plan 2004 -2007 in the District in partnership with the Municipality and other DoH partners. Ntombi is a qualified primary health care practitioner in private practice, and also provides consultancy services to Private clients on ad-hoc basis. 

She previously managed corporate wellness account for one of the major closed scheme (POLMED) medical aid while working for Medscheme and later moved to Wellness Odyssey, a division of Afrocentric Health (Medscheme). She later joined Metropolitan Momentum Health as a Business Relations Manager for the SAPS Health Risk Management contract and later appointed as an independent consultant fulfilling the project advisory role for the SAPS Health Risk Contract and facilitating the execution of the Hello Dr Project between DoH and Metropolitan. 

Alpheus Kodibona – Executive Director

Alpheus is a co-founder of Kenwell Consulting and a conscientious entrepreneur committed to promoting the quality of work life balance   of disadvantaged groups. He plays an instrumental role in ensuring that the business is viable through positive contribution to the advisory team in relation to marketing, finance management and locum recruitment.

Kenwell is supported by the sales & marketing consultants, who are successful independent financial consultant with more than 20 years’ experience in financial and sales management across a range of sectors. This team also supports upcoming entrepreneurs, created jobs and are involved in community projects. CSL Accounting firm and Mtsweni Consulting has been working with Kenwell since 2012 as their Business Development partners.

Medical Consultancy Support

KHC has a national network of multi-disciplinary team including sessional nurses and affiliate mobile doctors (Prinsloo, Lintso, Morake, Kalombo and others) who have a wealth of experience in the Medical and Occupational health care fields. Our in-depth understanding of private health care requirements, OHS policies, disease management protocols, etc. help us to offer sustainable quality health care with a solid return on investment for our clients. The Kenwell Consulting team is comprised of visionary leaders and our medical consultants are registered with the

HPCSA and SASHON to ensure compliance to the OHSA requirements.

IT Support

Kopano Medicals and Afro Lingo are our IT consultants and have years of experience in the development of medical programs and systems. Affiliation with them brings lot of innovative support to the business which in the long run would enable us to offer our clients a seamless solution. 

Nursing networks and operations

Nursing managers are predominant in Gauteng, Free State, Mpumalanga, Western Cape and Limpopo. We also have a National Footprint of reputable nurses across South Africa. Our Nursing Services Manager, Norah Nkomonde is responsible for the placement of nurses nationally and for liaison with all other provincial managers on ad-hoc basis as per client need. Our Nursing Services Manager and Provincial Coordinators have managerial skills and qualifications coupled with entrepreneurial qualities and abilities which helps us to understand our work environment thus being able to accommodate our clients even during a crisis situation.

Our Nurse networks and Admin mangers monitors, rate and reports nurse’s commitment and punctuality whenever they’re booked for events/placement. We also provides virtual pre allocation briefing and induction to the teams or individuals allocated for client event/s. Our nurses and admin teams understand that they can never be allocated unless they have attended a compulsory training upon registration to give us comfort that they represent our brand well and deliver quality efficient service to all our clients even if a booking was received within a short period of time.

Occupational health service practitioners

Where necessary we partner with some of our Occupational Health affiliates on our data base and others such as Seninhle Occupational Health & Hygiene Services which has over 20 years of experience in the Occupational health fraternity. We also have a vast experience of coordinating mobile and on-site occupational health screenings in any occupational health setting.
