This can be achieved by introducing a variety of a comprehensive workplace wellness programs that meets a range of employee personal health needs aimed to improve healthy bottom lines thus reducing absenteeism. Workplace programs assist to identify high risk employees on time thus preventing loss of skilled workers, onset of chronic disease, disability/incapacity, and other life style lifestyle diseases.

Ntombi Khambule is a seasoned Primary Health Care Practitioner, with extensive experience in the Promotive, Preventive, Curative and Rehabilitative Care including a Comprehensive Wellness solution offering.

Kenwell is well positioned to offer our clients a customised solution tailored to meet their workplace environment. on-site health care solutions. Our service is modelled to fit in both private and public sector including mining companies. Our outreach and on-site health and wellness program solutions has been active since 2010, offering workplace screening and consulting services to SMME’s around Gauteng & North West Province. Some of our first projects includes Health and Wellness days, pre-employment screening, workplace health screening, periodicals medicals including general health assessment of learners enrolled on the school feeding program in the North West Province.

Currently we offer a variety of health care services and outreach services to employer groups, medical aids. Individual and family consultations are available at our walk-in Health Care clinic in Pretoria. The onsite health centre offers a variety of Primary Health Care solutions ranging from minor to comprehensive clinical assessments, annual health check up’s, insurance screenings, lifestyle disease program (Diabetes, Hypertension, Epilepsy, HAART, etc.), reproductive health, expanded vaccination program, seasonal vaccination, pre travel prophylaxis, etc. 

Our company director is a professional nurse with a wealth of knowledge, over 20 years of experience in the health sector. She has an extensive PHC experience acquired from the 15 years of rendering a service in a public sector prior joining the private sector where she worked for over 10 years in the occupational and managed care industry where she conceptualized, implemented and managed workplace programs for renowned managed care companies. She also played a pivotal role in the Eli-lily funded NCD research program under the leadership of the University of Pretoria Endocrinologists and City of Johannesburg (health) for 3 years. The director was also key in the expansion of health care services to semi-rural areas of the Vaal. She also played a pivotal role in the implementation and roll out of HIV National Strategic Plan (2004 – 2007) as the Assistant Director of the program in Ekurhuleni Health District.

We are therefore best positioned to can also offer any PHC solution including setting up of a Dispensing on-site health care clinic or mobile clinic health solutions for employer group sites and smaller offices. Kenwell Health Care is registered with the Board of Health Care Funders (BHF), SANC, Private Nurse Practitioner Society, Hypertension Society & Diabetes SA. 

KHC practice is regulated by SANC, Board of Health Care Funders (BHF) and DoH. Locally we’re fortunate to be supported by Tshwane Health District Services, Private companies, Local NGOS’s and SMME’s.

KHC also have a number of private professional affiliates that partner with us during the onsite health and wellness day campaigns and other bigger projects. These include among others; pharmaceutical (retails and courier), dietitians/nutritionists, dental therapists, optometrists, physio therapists, somatologists/massage therapist, image makers, self-defense trainers, etc. 

In conclusion, our outcome-based solution is designed to holistically address workplace/employer and individual health needs in a seamless manner without compromising the confidentiality and quality of service offered. We meet our client’s demands by providing a customised solution that addresses client’s uniqueness thus fitting into existing workplace programs to promote their corporate wellness outcomes.
